Saudi Arabia attack Houthi positions near the Palace of Aden, 15 killed

Saudi Arabia combat troops attack Houthi positions near the Presidential Palace Ma'asdiq, Aden, Sunday, April 12th, 2015.

In addition, Saudi-led coalition forces also carried out air strikes against a base in central Yemen that left 15 rebels were killed. The statement was delivered medical and security sources told the news agency Agence France-Presse.

Air strikes were launched before dawn it hit Camp 22 in Al-Dahra, south province of Taez. "The attack wounded eight Houthi rebels," said a doctor at Al-Thawra hospital.

During this time the base is used by the elite Republican Guard forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh after he was forced to abdicate in 2012 following a national demonstration on power for three decades

Saleh's supporters and allies along the Houthi rebels had taken control of the capital Sanaa Koita September 2014. They are currently fighting against the forces of President Abdedrabbo Mansour Hadi followers.

In a statement to the media, Saturday, April 11, 2015, Saudi coalition forces said they had made 1,200 air strikes since March 26, 2015. The strikes, managed to destroy the air capability and  rebel missile.
