Increasing the number of French women are targeted to join ISIS. According to observers of terrorism, the number of women who join extremist groups are much more than men.
" A lot of French women who are interested (to join ISIS) for humanitarian reasons," said Jean-Charles Brisard, director of the Terrorism Analysis Centre in Paris to the French news website, The Local.
"Propaganda to targeting French citizens by featuring suffering women and children. Video and photographs will move the hearts of women," said Brisard. "They (ISIS) using the values of the West to convince the women to join with ISIS," he said.
Over 130 women have joined
Since April 2014, the French government opened a dedicated phone line, which allows citizens to report people who indicated would go to Syria or Iraq to join ISIS. Since then the government has received no less than 3,670 reports.
Data for March 2015 show there were 261 people who reported suspected joined ISIS. A total of 135 of them are women.
Reports published French High Council said, there are 1,430 French citizens have joined the ISIS in Iraq and Syria.
