Meet Stacy Eden, Aussie young woman defends Muslim family being 'racially abused' on train in Sydney

Stacey Eden, 23 years old, became a hero to the Muslim married couple who face verbal attacks on the commuter line to the airport Sydney, Wednesday (15/3).

Hafeez Ahmed Bhatti and his wife were traveling with the commuter line to Sydney Airport. Eden was not far from both.

Bhatti said suddenly an old racist woman approached and asked something. "She asked why my wife use hijab when it's hot outside," My wife thought she wanted to be friends. "

and then the old racist woman said "Muslim women like you dream to conquer Australia and behead everyone"

"I was shocked. I'm very disappointed," said Bhaati

Another woman who was sitting not far supports the old racist woman. "She said Muslims should be kicked out of Australia," said Bhatti. "I tried to calm, we said, we respect and love everyone.

Stacey Eden secretly turn on her cell phone camera, and record the embarrassing incident. She continued to record, until finally could not stand the harsh words from the racist woman.

"Shut your mouth," Eden rebuked the two women. "You have no polite words to say. She wears the hijab because she wants to be simple with her body, not like you who do not respect them."

Bhatti was shocked. He seemed not believe the defense actions undertaken by Eden

The Sydney Morning Herald, Eden said; "I started to boil when she said all Muslims supporting ISIS."

She could not accept it because she knows that ISIS actions made millions of Muslims suffer.

The old racist women attacked Eden, but Eden attacked back, they involved a loud argument, Eden continued to fight until the both racist women were silent.

Eden remains on the commuter line to ensure a Muslim family were not attacked again. She supposed to get off at the station which is quite far from the airport.

Arriving at Sydney Airport, Bhatti and say thank you to Eden and he greatly appreciates  Eden's action who have been defending his family.

At home, Bhatti wrote on his Facebook and called Eden as a hero. Eden posted footage of the incident, and write a little experience.

Register Islamophobia Australia said Australia's verbal attacks against Muslim women are now becoming more common. "We thank and heartened by the action of Eden. We hope that the Eden's acts inspired many people to stand up against slander over race and religion.
