William Bruce Jenner is a former U.S. track and field athlete and current television personality, who won the gold medal in the decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics held in Montreal, publicly announced he had become a woman with all its consequences.
Jenner, who is also a television star, announcing it through a television interview program. He said this feeling has harbored since he was a child.
"I always felt giddy with my sex identity," said Jenner told Diane Sawyer of ABC. "I like being bound in things I do not like, a girl imprisoned in a male body."
