Japanese Maglev train breaks the world speed record, 603 Km / Hour

Japan magnet train technology breaks world speed record ever created before, with new speed 603 kilometers per hour. Central Japan Railways said, called maglev train that was speeding over 600 kilometers per hour for almost 11 seconds in the trial on Tuesday (21/4).

The train can reach speeds as high as it is because of the strong magnet that allows it to float a few centimeters above the track, thus avoiding friction. Magnetic electrically charged it also helps to encourage the movement of trains.

Central Japan Railways hopes maglev technology can be used by the year 2045 to cut half time between Tokyo and Osaka became just a little over an hour. Shorter route between Tokyo and Nagoya, is expected to open in late 2020s

Officials said Tuesday the trial is intended to define the limits of the technology,  they expect the actual operating speed is about 500 kilometers per hour.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has been promoting the technology for possible sale to other countries, including the United States, where the White House has invested billions of dollars in working on an ambitious project-speed train that is still in its early stages.

The first Maglev train broke the world speed record in 2003, which is 590 kilometers per hour
