Michele M. Leonhart US DEA Chief step down, following allegations that agents attended sex parties paid by cartels.

Michele. M Leonhart, the woman who holds top position in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) - on Tuesday (21/4) reportedly will soon resign from her post, after the issue of the DEA agents who attended sex party funded by drug dealers in Colombia.

Until today, a spokesman for the DEA has not made a formal statement regarding Leonhart's resignation, who has served in the DEA since 2007.

Leonhart resigned after the peak of chaotic sex scandal DEA agent.

Since many reported, Leonhart has come under fire from many parties because it has not dismiss or punish members of the DEA is involved.

The incident in Colombia was first noticed by the Department of Justice in March 2015, who was conducting an investigation.

The initial investigation, several DEA agents hire female prostitution and do some sexual violence.

Leonhart drug policy in the DEA  is often at odds with the policy of the Obama administration. For example when Leonhart reject the use of marijuana for medicine.

She even says that marijuana is more harmful than alcohol.

Therefore, many people who do not understand why Leonhart remains in office.
