Adrianne Lewis (18) has a tongue that is longer than most people. With a size of up to 10 centimeters, she could lick the elbow, nose, chin, even her eyeball.
With the size of the tongue that is not normal, the teen girl who came from Michigan, USA, is hoping to set a Guinness World Record, after three times rejected in previous years.
Previously Lewis had got recognition from Ripley's Believe It or Not at the age of 13 years and of fans around the world after photos of her tongue became viral in cyberspace.
"I did not expect anything because I've submitted to Guinness and rejected three times," she told to Barcroft TV. "A few days later I got an email saying my tongue really cool."
Lewis said a very long tongue is genetic ancestry in the family. She diligently stretch since childhood.
"Mother, grandmother, and my great grandfather all had a very long tongue," she said. "When I was in elementary school, my tongue becomes very enjoyable. I can flick my tongue on the faces of children who like to bugging me and make them panic.
She utilizes the uniqueness of her tongue and share tricks on YouTube channel: and start making videos two years ago and now has collected more than 1,800 subscribers.
"I deleted a lot of bad comments and try to clean as possible," said Lewis. "People have accused me edit the video and told my tongue is not real."
Lewis is now hoping to beat the record holder for the world's longest tongue, Nick Stoeberl (24) with length of 3.9 inches tongue or 9.9 centimeters.
