Silver medal for the US team in the 4x100m relay race at the Olympic Games London 2012, revoked as a result of doping scandals one team member, Tyson Gay.
Tyson Gay, the former world champion in the 100m and 200m, was sentenced to one year suspended after the doping test, tested positive for anabolic steroids.
The 32-year-old runner returns earned medals at London 2012 after the sentence was announced, in May 2014.
Now, the International Olympic Committee IOC told the US Olympic Committee, that all earned medals 4x100m relay team must be returned because involves Tyson Gay.
"We will return the medals, and supports all measures to protect the clean athletes," said the statement of the US Olympics committee. US chain of four runners who won second place in the 2012 London Olympics is Tyson Gay, Trell Kimmons, Ryan Bailey and Justin Gatlin.
Justin Gatlin himself had been involved in a doping scandal, twice convicted, including the ban for four years between 2006-2010.
Doping test against Tyson Gay tested positive on June 23, 2013, and cancellations for its achievements applicable to the various competitions that followed starting from July 15, 2012 -Date he first took the banned substance intake.
