Flying car Aeromobil Fall At Testing

Still remember the flying car developed by companies from Slovakia, Aeromobil ?, had an accident and fell from a height while test flying in the city of Nitra, west Slovakia. As reported Worldcarfans, Tuesday (05/12/2015), Aeromobil suffered considerable damage due to of this accident.

Meanwhile, the driver and pilot, Stefan Klein survived, and only suffered minor injuries. Klein lives saved after he got out of the cabin and landed using a parachute.

Unknown cause of the collapse is still under investigation by the authorities. The Aeromobil specifications 3.0 using of Rotax 912 engine capacity of 1,352 cc, with a four-cylinder boxer engine configuration. The machine is equipped with a liquid cooling system and oil so that the temperature is more stable. Rotax 912 engine is capable of spraying power to 100 hp at 5,800 rpm the engine rotation.

Steel frame and carbon fiber used to obtain a light weight. The steering system using the autopilot while airborne, and can be driven manually while on land. Aeromobil have quite compact dimensions and only be loaded with two passengers. 6 meters long, 2.24 meters wide (wings folded) and a wingspan of 8.32 meters (when unfolded), while the empty weight of 600 kilograms.

Land speed 160 kph, while the air velocity reach 200 kph.  air cruising range reaches 700 km, while on ground  500 km.
