ISIS militant group executing the death of 300 Yazidi hostages in Tal Afar, Iraq, on Friday (1/5). Vice-President of Iraq, Osama al-Nujafi, called this massacre as an act of horrible and barbaric.
"Women, children, and elderly people confirmed to be the victim. ISIS gather them in one place and shoot them simultaneously," said one of the Kurdish Democratic Party official was quoted as saying by The Telegraph, Sunday (3/5).
Kurdish news agency, Shafaq News, also refer to these killings as a heinous crime.
Meanwhile, a Kurdish member of the commission, Qulu Sanjiri, revealed that at least three thousand Yazidi are still being held by ISIS.
Tens of thousands of Yazidi managed to escape when ISIS attack the City Sinjar, Iraq, near the Syrian border in the summer of last year. Unfortunately, hundreds of others were arrested by ISIS and enslaved.
Nevertheless, last month freed 216 people ISIS Yazidi tribe. Iraqi and Kurdish officials believe ISIS can not handle the hostages were sick and frail.
Yazidis who embrace ancient beliefs are considered infidels by ISIS. With Sunni militant groups have looked at the Yazidis and Shia Muslims as apostates who must be exterminated. They also forced Christians to convert or pay a special tax.
To demolish ISIS, the United States led coalition air strikes targeting Iraqi and Syrian territory controlled by the militant group.
